My favorite type of cookies, is no bake cookies! They’re delicious, easy to make and you can store them for a week or so! Check out this chocolate oatmeal cookies recipe.
⅔ cup of peanut butter.
¼ cup of cocoa.
2 cups of sugar.
¼ cup of butter or margarine.
2 cups of uncooked quick-cooking oats.
1 (3 ½ ounces) can of flaked coconut.
1 tsp of vanilla extract.
½ cup of milk.
In a bowl, mix together the oats, peanut butter, coconut, cocoa and vanilla until well combined.
In a small saucepan, mix together the sugar, milk and butter and bring to a boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
Pour the milk mixture over the oat mixture and stir immediately until well combined.
Don’t waste time, drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper-lined baking sheets and let cool.
Simple, easy and yummy! I make these on extra and save them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for a week or so, but it never lasts that long!
