I love no bake cookies, I always have some stored around the house for that sweet need we get from time to another. Check out these amazing chocolate peanut butter drops and let me know what you think.
⅓ cup of butter.
¼ cup of 2% reduced fat milk.
¼ cup of reduced fat creamy peanut butter.
1 ½ cups of uncooked quick cooking oats.
1 cup of sugar.
¼ cup of unsweetened cocoa.
¼ cup of dark chocolate chips.
1 tsp of vanilla extract.
In a saucepan, mix together the sugar, butter, cocoa and milk and bring to a simmer stirring frequently. It’s takes about 2 minutes for the sugar to dissolve.
Turn off the heat and mix in the chocolate chips and stir to melt the chocolate.
Mix in the peanut butter and vanilla until well combined then mix in the oats and let cool a bit.
On wax paper, drop the mixture by tablespoonfuls and let cool to firm.
Easy, peasy and yummy! My kids love having these after school, I added chocolate chips instead of butter to avoid fat. Give this recipe a shot, you’ll love it.
