I rarely prepare cordon bleu, but when I do, it has to be good! This skinny chicken cordon bleu casserole is amazing! Check out how it’s made.
2 cups of cooked chicken cut into chunks.
2 cups of diced ham.
1 box of stuffing mix.
1 cup of shredded swiss cheese.
¼ cup of reduced fat shredded cheddar cheese.
1 cup of nonfat milk.
1 can cream of chicken soup.
1 tsp of salt.
1 tsp of pepper.
First, prepare the stuffing mix according to the package instructions.
Mix together the soup and milk in a mixing bowl.
In a sprayed casserole dish, layer the chopped chicken and season with salt and pepper. Top with ham and swiss cheese.
Pour the soup over the chicken and top with the stuffing mix.
Top with cheddar cheese.
In a preheated oven to 350° bake covered with foil for 35 to 40 minutes, at 25 minutes of baking, remove the foil and bake until the cheese is melted.
Easy, peasy and cheesy! Sometimes I make this cordon bleu for lunch other’s for dinner, it depends on how many people are going to eat. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.
